Emergency and Useful Phone Numbers
Immediate assistance
If someone is immediate danger or you see a crime in progress, phone 999. You can also phone 112, the international emergency number. This will put you through exactly the same way as if you had called 999. When your call is answered the operator will ask if you need police, ambulance, or fire. Calls to 999 or 112 are free on all mobile phones. You can even call these numbers when you have no credit and can't make any other calls. Additionally they will work across networks, so even if you don't have a signal on your own network, if the phone can pick up another network it will use that.

Drains and sewers
The Enfield Island Village Trust has an arrangement with Total Drainage Services (TDS). If you suspect a blockage in the public drain or sewer contact the Enfield Island Village Trust on 01992 769143. Outside office hours call TDS direct on 07813 167352. If the blockage is caused by blockage of a public drain or sewer then the Enfield Island Village Trust will make sure TDS is paid and will take over any necessary negotiations with the council and water authority. If the blockage is on your property, you will have to pay the bill. If you wish to contact Thames Water about a leak or blockage on your property the number is 0845 9200 800 and they may be able to provide a service at your cost.
Non-emergency situations
For less urgent crime-related issues, including rowdy behaviour, you can contact the Enfield Lock Police Safer Neighbourhood Team on 020 8721 2690 or 07920 233773 (not 24 hours) or the Metropolitan Police’s general crime reporting number 0300 123 1212 (e.g. to report a burglary or car theft after it has happened).
